What You'll Do:
As an Assembler I, you will help build and finish Pelican products through a variety of assembly, fabrication, and production processes. You'll work with tools, equipment, and team members to ensure products meet Pelican's high standards for quality and performance.
Follow verbal and written work instructions to assemble a variety of plastic products and protective cases.
Use hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, assembly fixtures, drill presses, saws, and other manufacturing equipment.
Perform assembly fixture changeovers and replenish materials at workstations as needed.
Install hardware, components, and accessories according to product specifications.
Perform gluing, taping, flame treating, labeling, and finishing operations.
Inspect parts and assemblies for visual defects and quality concerns.
Operate machinery used in finishing and assembly processes.
Perform basic repair, touch-up, and paint operations on foam inserts and components.
Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
Follow company policies, quality standards, and safety procedures.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Manufacturing, assembly, warehouse, production, or related experience preferred.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Ability to safely operate machinery and machine controls.
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new equipment and processes.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Understanding of safety procedures and manufacturing best practices.
