Underground Telecom Foreman

What you’ll need

• Knowledge of fiber-optic and telecommunications systems.
• Ability to use cable locating and testing equipment.
• Understanding of underground utility standards and regulations.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Basic computer skills for reporting and network documentation.
• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• A valid driver’s license
• Previous Foreman experience preferred

Physical abilities & exposures

• Routinely: work alone in remote locations and in confined spaces with arms above shoulder level, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift greater than 55 pounds
• Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse
