Job Description

Accountabilities and Responsibilities

As part of the Back Office Application Support team, you will be responsible for a range of day‑to‑day support activities, including:

  • Managing user requests and incidents – ensuring end‑to‑end ownership and timely resolution of business queries.
  • Batch monitoring – performing daily checks and oversight of key scheduled activities.
  • Change management – working with the business to understand issues and collaborating with product teams, development teams, and vendors to deliver effective solutions.
  • Vendor management – acting as the primary point of contact for external vendors.
  • Audit requests – completing all internal and external audit requirements in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Project support – serving as an SME for TTR applications and ensuring project deliverables are released into production in a controlled and compliant manner.
  • Release management – provide support for system enhancements across PROD / REL / QA environments
  • Infrastructure coordination – working closely with infrastructure teams to maintain stable and reliable business platforms.
  • Service delivery alignment – operating within the defined service delivery framework to ensure consistent and high‑quality support.

This role reports to the Back Office Application Management Team Lead, who oversees all Back Office–facing applications. Close collaboration across all Application Management teams is encouraged, with the shared goal of delivering a strong, scalable platform to support future integration and growth within SMBC.
