KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
· BE degree in Mechanical Engineering with 5-7 years of related working experience
· A thorough knowledge of machine design, fluid mechanics, vibration, strength of material, metallurgy, ASME , API codes, and manufacturing processes.
· Design knowledge in Gate Valves & Choke Valve will carry weightage.
· Ability to design and generate creative mechanical solutions; translate concepts and information into images; apply design principles, solve practical problems
· Familiar with industry specifications such as API 6D,API 17D ASME Section VIII, etc. and able to interpret and apply as required
· Knowledge of GD&T is essential.
· Basic knowledge of FEA
· Strong interpersonal skills for communicating thoughts and ideas
· Able to work responsibly without close supervision individually or in team environment
