RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Understand Seasonal Concepts, Key Investments, Key Ideas, Key Items, KPIs, Lifespans, and Programs to overall execute Product Strategy for each season within the Women’s Apparel & Accessories category.
- Analytical skills to measure product performance on a weekly basis.
- Executing buys for most categories & specific accounts per Sr. Buyer’s lead assuring full coverage of account’s specific requests. Consolidating achievement within both internal & partner’s goals
- Full knowledge of main KPIs needed to achieve monthly and yearly wholesale goals: turnover, sell through, MOS, open to buy, sell in, sell out, margin & inventory levels.
- Focused on Inventory management tasks, which include: Making sure Purchase Orders are being issued correctly and on time, communicating to the global team on pending purchase orders and update product information on system to provide full visibility on product flow, arrivals & final delivery to clients. Potential arrival or delivery risks & actions to mitigate future impacts.
- Follow-up on OTB & updated knowledge of sell-in & shipping status in order to achieve monthly & yearly revenue objectives.
- Tracking of receipts and communicating product delays to sales team.
- Consistent follow up on client’s orders to fully deliver on time, following usual orders processing time. Working side by side with respective sales team to have a daily tracking on pending orders & deliveries.
- Constantly updating systems or buying files to provide correct information and visibility on product attributes such as selling channels, tickets, units or ship modes to the buying, inventory planning and sales teams.
- Communicate and deliver constantly the Product Strategy to the cross-functional teams for them to execute the strategy effectively.
- Work closely with the Visual and Marketing team on making sure that needed actions are taken to improve sales with our accounts.
- Assist on the seasonal buying process, where creative & strategic feedback is needed on the pricing, assortment execution, visual tools presentation and final selling process.
- Collaborate on the seasonal Go-To-market process, assuring all the steps are successfully covered and presenting the final product assortment walkthrough to each of the partners.
- Have a full pricing strategy knowledge, making sure internal margin goals are achieved every season while assuring a competitive pricing position in the sales floor with its respective benchmarks
- Visit Stores at least once a month with the Buyers & sales team to get feedback on product performance and floorset execution.
- Constant negotiation & communication with partners & accounts, adapting different business models to achieve results.
- Consumer knowledge & constant benchmark updates for the different accounts to make the right decisions from product.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, or equivalent.
- At least 2 years’ experience in the merchandising or retail industry.
- English Speaking, daily communication with US partners
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong team working skills

- Ability to multi-task, perform under pressure and deadline oriented.
- Ability to act as liaison between many departments.
