Conduct safety assessments and analysis on Plant equipment
Comply with Federal and State regulatory requirements, apply McCormick Health and Safety policies and procedures, and establish best practices
Monitor and verify regulatory compliance of Plant industrial hygiene (e.g. air quality, noise, temperature, and/or radiation levels)
Inspect facility, machinery, and safety equipment. Identify and correct potential hazards
Assist with developing lockout tag-out procedures, monitor and ensure technician compliance, deliver relevant training, inspect and ensure machine guarding requirements are met
Monitor and ensure regulatory programs are developed and implemented (e.g. Contractors, Powered Industrial Trucks, Confined Space, Chemical Management, SDS)
Conduct relevant training depending on site specific needs
Facilitate the Safety Functional Leader program
Participate fully in TPM activities
