Job Description

About UHP

UHP — Unlock Human Potential is building a new category of education centered around whole-human experiential vocational training, leadership development, and purpose-driven transformation. UHP serves veterans, transitioning service members, and purpose-driven individuals through immersive programs that integrate human performance, leadership, wellness, vocational skills, and personal growth.

Our environment is fast-moving, mission-driven, and deeply experiential. We are not a traditional university, gym, military program, or trade school — we are building a scalable human development institution designed for the future workforce.

Registered Dietitian & Nutrition Instructor

The Opportunity

This is a high-impact opportunity for a Registered Dietitian & Nutrition Instructor to shape how nutrition is taught, applied, and experienced across UHP.

You will lead the nutrition lane within our programs—educating future coaches, influencing campus-wide food strategy, and ensuring nutrition is integrated into performance, leadership, and daily life on campus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, application-focused nutrition instruction across CPT, IHC, and CNC programs

  • Lead and evolve the nutrition curriculum within the CNC program

  • Teach performance fueling, culinary nutrition, behavior change, and real-world coaching application

  • Partner with chefs and kitchen leadership to align meals, snacks, and recovery with performance goals

  • Translate nutrition science into practical, scalable systems across campus

  • Mentor instructors and support the development of teaching staff

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure nutrition is embedded across all programs

  • Experience in performance, applied, or operational nutrition

  • Background working with coaches, athletes, or developing professionals

  • Experience collaborating with chefs or food service teams

  • Military service or experience working with Veteran populations

  • Ability to translate complex concepts into practical application

  • Confident communicator with strong presence in front of groups

  • High level of ownership and accountability

  • Ability to collaborate across disciplines and influence without authority

  • Alignment with UHP’s mission and high-performance culture

Schedule & Work Environment

  • Schedule: Flexibility is required based on campus operational needs, including varying shifts, occasional weekends, and instructional coverage requirements across our 800+ acre environment.

  • Work Environment: Fully onsite at 25200 Ranch Road, Gentry, AR 72734 within a fast-paced, immersive human performance and coaching environment. This role requires daily interaction with students, coaches, and leadership teams while operating in a highly collaborative setting.

  • 401(k)

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance

  • Paid time off

  • Professional development support

  • Access to UHP performance and recovery facilities
