Registered Dietitian & Nutrition Instructor
The Opportunity
This is a high-impact opportunity for a Registered Dietitian & Nutrition Instructor to shape how nutrition is taught, applied, and experienced across UHP.
You will lead the nutrition lane within our programs—educating future coaches, influencing campus-wide food strategy, and ensuring nutrition is integrated into performance, leadership, and daily life on campus.
This is not a traditional clinical role. This is a builder, educator, and leader position with direct impact on student outcomes and the broader UHP experience.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging, application-focused nutrition instruction across CPT, IHC, and CNC programs
Lead and evolve the nutrition curriculum within the CNC program
Teach performance fueling, culinary nutrition, behavior change, and real-world coaching application
Partner with chefs and kitchen leadership to align meals, snacks, and recovery with performance goals
Translate nutrition science into practical, scalable systems across campus
Mentor instructors and support the development of teaching staff
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure nutrition is embedded across all programs
Qualifications & Experience
A strong educator and practitioner who can operate at both the instructional and systems level—someone who can teach, influence, and build.
Required Qualifications
Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN), active and in good standing
Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field
Experience in performance, applied, or operational nutrition
Experience teaching, coaching, or facilitating adult learners
Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in military, tactical, or high-performance environments
Background working with coaches, athletes, or developing professionals
Experience collaborating with chefs or food service teams
Military service or experience working with Veteran populations
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Strong understanding of performance nutrition and behavior change
Ability to translate complex concepts into practical application
Confident communicator with strong presence in front of groups
High level of ownership and accountability
Ability to collaborate across disciplines and influence without authority

Schedule & Work Environment
Schedule: Flexibility is required based on campus operational needs, including varying shifts, occasional weekends, and instructional coverage requirements across our 800+ acre environment.
Work Environment: Fully onsite at 25200 Ranch Road, Gentry, AR 72734 within a fast-paced, immersive human performance and coaching environment. This role requires daily interaction with students, coaches, and leadership teams while operating in a highly collaborative setting.
