Vistance is recruiting an IT Projects Specialist/Junior PM to join our team based in Hyderabad!
The IT Project Specialist/Junior PM will support the PMO in project lifecycle management, governance, stage gates, metrics and reporting, and training. This role will initially manage small projects for specific business functions and, based on performance, gradually take on medium-sized projects.
How You'll Help Us Connect the World:
- Owner of Project Life Cycle (PLC) methodology documentation and training. This includes periodic updates to documentation.
- Ensure appropriate use of CommScope’s IT project management tools, governance, processes, and methodologies
- Work with artifact owners to keep artifacts current.
- Coordinate and conduct training sessions on PLC, SDLC, and PPM tools
- Responsible for the management and governance of Project Lifecycle methodology and artifacts.
- Audit project artifacts required by project methodology
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, evaluating PLC and SDLC
- Support PMO with report automation and management
- Communicate status through reporting metrics
- Assist in the administration of the PPM tool
- May be asked to lead small projects in the organisation
Required Qualifications for Consideration:
- Include demonstrated competencies and physical, mental, & interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, IS or related field
- At least 2 years of project management experience
- Technical writing experience
- Trainer experience
- Experience with project management tools and structured methodologies
- Prior experience with Project Portfolio Management tools
- Expertise with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, MS Teams, and Planner
- Able to create Macro and advanced formulas in Excel
- Strong Communication Skills
You Will Excite Us If You Have:
- PMP or equivalent professional project management certification
- Demonstrated technical experience in IT and all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Prior software development experience
