Guaranteed Service provides residential heating, cooling, plumbing, and electrical services throughout New Jersey and Staten Island. We take pride in delivering quality service with professionalism and care, and we’re looking for a Warehouse & Fleet Manager to join our growing team.
What You’ll Do:
As the Warehouse & Fleet Manager, you’ll oversee the daily operations of our warehouse and company vehicles to ensure our field teams have the equipment, materials, and support they need to succeed. This role is essential in keeping our trucks, warehouse, and installation workflow organized, efficient, and fully operational.
Fleet Management
Oversee daily operations of company vehicles, including scheduling, maintenance, inspections, and repairs
Monitor vehicle usage, fuel consumption, and overall performance
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, licensing, and insurance requirements
Maintain accurate fleet records and service logs
Trucks
Set up trucks for new employees, including installing shelving and organizing truck layouts
Ensure all trucks are properly stocked with required tools, materials, and equipment
Maintain consistent truck stock levels and replenish as needed
Monitor GPS systems and vehicle cameras to ensure they are functioning properly at all times
Address and coordinate repairs or replacements for any malfunctioning GPS or camera equipment
Conduct periodic inspections to ensure cleanliness, organization, and readiness
Warehouse Organization & Inventory
Organize and maintain a clean, efficient warehouse layout
Track inventory levels and manage incoming/outgoing equipment
Ensure proper storage and handling of tools and materials
Conduct regular inventory audits
Coordinate scrap metal drop off and maintain dumpsters
Warehouse Staffing & Scheduling
Develop and manage schedules for warehouse employees to ensure consistent coverage during operating hours
Maintain a fully staffed and operational warehouse at all times
Coordinate part and equipment deliveries from warehouse staff to field employees as needed
Adjust staffing and delivery coordination based on workload and installation demands
Installation Equipment Staging
Prepare and stage equipment and materials for upcoming installations
Ensure that any job sold before 5:00 PM is fully staged the same day
Coordinate with installation teams to ensure all required items are ready and accurate
Verify quality and completeness of staged materials before deployment
Vendor Invoices & Pricing Accuracy
Review and verify all vendor invoices for accuracy, including pricing, quantities, and delivered items
Ensure all delivered equipment matches purchase orders and agreed pricing
Resolve discrepancies with vendors in a timely manner
Maintain organized records of invoices and approvals
Documentation & Paperwork
Create, organize, and manage installation paperwork and job packets
Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and delivered on time
Maintain records of completed installations and associated materials
Coordination & Communication
Work closely with operations, project managers, and installation teams
Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce downtime
Assist with scheduling logistics as needed
