Research Technician, Pharmacology

The Research Technician position provides support for ongoing research efforts in the Department of Pharmacology. The individual hired for this position will be involved in investigating the therapeutic potential of novel pharmacological compounds for the treatment of neurologic and neuropsychiatric disorders using cutting-edge technology, including ex vivo electrophysiology in conjunction with optogenetics, behavioral pharmacology in mice in combination with survival stereotaxic microinjection surgery on the mouse brain, and in vivo fiber photometry.
