Assistant Director, Radiation and Laser Safety and University Radiation Safety Officer

The Assistant Director leads the radiation and laser safety programs and serves as Radiation Safety Officer (RSO). Reporting to the Assistant Vice Chancellor for EHSS, this role ensures compliance with safety regulations, supports a safe research environment, and drives efficiency through technology and data. The position collaborates with faculty, staff, students, and regulatory agencies and may serve on key safety and risk committees.
