Key Responsibilities
- Providing support to BMT North America in the creation, management and distribution of project documentation and deliverables;
- Assisting project / program managers, and shared services, in the execution of internal and external projects within the cost and budget allocated;
- Providing professional and efficient office and administrative support, as the on-site point of contact, to internal staff and external clients.
- Reviewing, editing, formatting, and managing the distribution of internal documents and client deliverables using exceptional proofreading skills and maintaining compliance with established guidelines and standards;
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including subject matter experts (SMEs), project managers, quality assurance professionals, and project team members, to gather information, review documents, and facilitate document approvals and revisions;
- Providing support for Quality Assurance activities such as supporting audits, and reviewing quality documentation for completeness and accuracy;
- Conducting quality reviews and audits of documents to identify errors, inconsistencies, and non-compliance issues, and recommending corrective actions and improvements to enhance document quality and integrity;
- Maintaining quality through version control, document tracking, distribution, and archival, to ensure that documents are current, accessible, and properly managed throughout their lifecycle.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
Essential:
- Office support experience
- Ability to recognize problems or limitations and ask for guidance;
- Excellent time management, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient proofreading and editing skills;
- Intermediate skills in the use of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, and Visio;
- Excellent English language skills (verbal and written);
- Ability to multitask and be proactive; and
- Reliability or higher Security Clearance, or ability to obtain.
- Proficient in document conversion tools including the use of Adobe Acrobat Pro;
- Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop or other Graphics software;
- Familiarity with technical / engineering workplace;
- Familiarity with SharePoint Administration;
- Previous experience providing project management support;
- Bachelor's diploma/degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Communications, Information Management, Technical Writing); and
- Related professional certification(s).
