Overwatch Rush is a new top-down Hero shooter designed specifically for mobile, developed by a dedicated team with deep mobile experience.

We are currently looking for a Senior Outsource Supervisor, Generalist, to work on Overwatch Rush for Blizzard.

As a Senior Outsource Supervisor responsible for managing pipelines, communication, processes, and external partnerships to ensure the successful delivery of game art content. Collaborates closely with Art and Production Leads to coordinate internal and external workflows, maintaining smooth operations and alignment across teams. You will oversee the preparation and integration of outsourced assets to a game-ready standard, including creating briefs, managing the teams, planning documentation, and refining incoming content. You will provide clear, timely, and constructive feedback to external partners to ensure consistent quality and adherence to artistic and technical standards.

Responsibilities 

  • Works closely with Art and Production Leads to support the external production of 2D and 3D art, animation, and VFX content, ensuring all deliverables are on time, meet quality standards, and align with specifications.

  • Creation of creative briefs and technical documentation, ensuring they clearly define the work that needs to be carried out by our external partners.

  • Provide accurate, well-constructed, and timely feedback to vendors, ensuring they can work at their best without bottlenecks or blockers.

  • Ensures all art content meets specifications, is readily accessible for internal review, and reaches a game-ready state. Applies minor adjustments to assets when needed or escalates to internal teams for additional support, ensuring all content meets required standards.

  • Ensure the internal team is kept well informed about all relevant external production, highlighting issues that may affect delivery, quickly and effectively. 

  • Thoroughly understand all relevant content pipelines, proactively looking for gains in efficiency or quality, to then work with the team to improve the way we work.

Minimum Requirements :

  • Strong understanding of industry-standard art content pipelines across a wide range of disciplines, including 3D, 2D/UI, animation, and VFX.

  • Familiarity with asset integration processes within game engines, ensuring content is correctly implemented and optimized.

  • Working knowledge of version control systems for managing assets, collaboration, and maintaining production efficiency.
     

Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong eye for detail, with an ability to understand an art style and to identify what is required to get that content into a game-ready state.

  • Great communication skills, understanding how to articulate complex visual concepts.

  • Knowledgeable in the technical aspects of creating in-game art content, covering the full end-to-end pipeline, and adept at implementing art into a game efficiently, with a focus on clean, structured, and optimized processes.

  • In-depth knowledge of industry-standard software for the creation of 2d and 3d art, as well as any industry-relevant game engine and game development environment.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Unity game development.
