Job Responsibilities
1.Lead and coordinate production associates to ensure production targets are achieved on time, with good quality and efficiency.
2. Monitor product quality during production and report any production or quality issues promptly to management.
3. Conduct daily team meetings and provide daily production performance reports.
4. Perform assembly operations on complex components, assemblies, and sub-assemblies across multiple production areas.
5. Suggest process improvements and support implementation activities.
6. Support new product and model introductions.
7. Ensure equipment is properly maintained and operating effectively.
8. Train and guide associates on proper production processes and operational skills.
9. Support onboarding and training for new employees and junior team leaders.
10. Act as a role model within the team.
11. Support cross-training activities among different production areas.
12. Monitor attendance and assist supervisors in workforce management.
13. Maintain a good understanding of company processes and procedures.
14. Support probation evaluations and training for new hires.
15. Ensure workplace safety and report any safety concerns or improvement opportunities.
16. Escalate production-related issues promptly and provide possible solutions.
17. Maintain good communication between associates and management.
18. Support other production areas when required.
19. Accept additional responsibilities and tasks as assigned.
20. Work on shifts is a must.
21. Maintain good housekeeping and 5S standards within the work area.
Requirements
1. Minimum 2–3 years of Team Leader experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment.
2. Good understanding of production monitoring and ISO documentation requirements.
3. Able to investigate production or quality issues and support corrective actions.
4. Good reporting and problem-solving skills.
5. Able to calculate takt time, manpower, and production line balancing requirements.
6. Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
7. Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
9. High level of manual dexterity and hands-on ability.
10. High school education or above preferred.
11. Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
12. Able to perform manual handling tasks when required.
13. Able to speak Chinese is a plus.
14. Able to lift or move up to 50 lbs is a plus.
15. English as working language is a must.
