About the opportunity
In this position you will be responsible for:
- Providing day-to-day student health support, including the safe administration of prescribed medication and the provision of first aid in a school setting in accordance with medical authorisations, parent/carer instructions, and school procedures.
- Maintaining, updating and monitoring student medical management plans and individual health plans, first aid and incident records ensuring information is accurate, current and confidential.
- Safe storage, handling and recording medications in compliance with BCE policies, health regulations and school requirements.
- Using school ICT systems and databases to process, maintain and retrieve confidential student health records, registers and correspondence.
- Preparing and organise student medical information and medication requirements for camps, excursions and school events in line with risk management procedures.
