As a Professional Services Technician, you will play a critical role in advancing embryo production and transfer outcomes while maintaining the highest standards of animal care, biosecurity, and customer service. Responsibilities
- Flush and transfer bovine embryos
- Perform ultrasound-guided transvaginal ovum pickup procedures for IVF embryo production
- Design and review superovulation and synchronization protocols for donors and recipients
- Evaluate pregnancy status post-transfer using ultrasonography
- Assess fetal gender, viability, and quantity in various embryo programs (including IVF and research embryos)
- Conduct rectal palpation to evaluate reproductive status of recipient cows
- Execute, monitor, and enhance farm-level biosecurity protocols
- Maintain a professional, customer-focused presence aligned with company standards
QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s or Ph.D. in Bovine Reproduction or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience
- Strong technical proficiency in reproductive procedures and cattle handling
- Ability to work long, physically demanding days during peak seasons
- Capability to lift up to 50 lbs and sustain prolonged periods of standing and manual work
- High level of dexterity, hand coordination, and precision in technical procedures
- Passion for bovine reproduction with a commitment to continuous learning
- Strong customer orientation with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
