You’ll be actively negotiating sales, monitoring market trends, and working closely with internal teams to move volume and optimize inventory. What We Offer Interfor offers a competitive salary based on experience, skills, and qualifications, with an expected range of $75,000 – $95,000 (CAD) per year. Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with key customers across Western commodity markets. Market Insight: Analyze market trends and demand patterns to inform pricing, timing, and sales strategy. Inventory Optimization: Monitor mill and regional inventories and proactively move product to maximize margin. Cross‑Team Collaboration: Partner closely with sales teammates and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth order fulfillment and execution. What You Offer Sales Experience: 2–5 years of commodity lumber sales experience preferred, with knowledge of the North American lumber market. Relationship Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust quickly with customers and teammates. Business Mindset: Detail‑oriented, results‑driven, and motivated to maximize margin in a dynamic market environment. Organization Drive: Highly organized, self‑motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities with urgency.
