JOB PURPOSE 

The METSA OPUS-Magnum One PMO Lead plays a critical role in the successful deployment and separation of the newly listed Ice Cream business across the METSA region. Partnering closely with the BU Deployment Lead, this role provides PMO leadership to ensure fully standalone systems, organisations, and processes are delivered across Wave 3 and Wave 4 markets. 

This position sits at the heart of a highpriority global programme, offering the opportunity to drive execution excellence, influence senior stakeholders, and build deep expertise in largescale transformation and separation programmes. 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 
 

Programme Governance & Control 

  • Establish and enforce PMO governance standards across all METSA OPUS deployment workstreams. 

  • Prepare and manage agendas, decision papers, minutes, and action trackers for key programme governance forums. 


Planning & Scheduling 

  • Own the development, integration, and execution of Wave 3 and Wave 4 METSA OPUS deployment plans across METSA markets. 

  • Track milestones, dependencies, and critical paths across multiple markets, ensuring alignment to global timelines. 


Risk, Issue & Dependency Management 

  • Maintain and actively manage logs, ensuring early identification and resolution of risks and issues. 

  • Develop mitigation scenarios and escalate critical risks and dependencies to senior leadership as required. 


Reporting & Performance Insights 

  • Consolidate market and workstream updates into clear, concise executive dashboards. 

  • Provide accurate, timely, and insightdriven reporting to the BU Deployment Lead and Global PMO. 


Stakeholder Engagement 

  • Coordinate closely with METSA market deployment teams, the global METSA OPUS programme office, and functional leads. 

  • Facilitate alignment across internal and external stakeholders to support effective decisionmaking and delivery. 


Resource & Budget Tracking 

  • Support regional resource planning and capacity management for METSA OPUS deployment activities. 

  • Track deploymentrelated budgets, identify variances, and support mitigation planning. 

 

Skills, Experience & Qualifications 

Minimum requirements 

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in PMO or project management roles within largescale transformation, separation, or complex business change programmes. 

  • Proven experience delivering largescale systems implementations in multigeography, multidisciplinary environments. 

  • Strong understanding of deployment planning, programme governance, and risk management. 

  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex stakeholder networks across multiple countries and cultures. 

  • Outstanding organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple overlapping deadlines while maintaining highquality output. 

  • Proficiency in project management and reporting tools (e.g., MS Project, Power BI and planning tools). 


Preferred 

  • PMO, MSP, PMP, or equivalent programme/project management certification. 

  • Prior experience in carveout, separation, or standalone business deployments.
