Offshore Search and Rescue – Dual Role Technical Crew (S92) Falkland Islands

We are preparing for an exciting phase of growth in one of the world’s most unique operating environments. This upcoming work marks a significant step forward in providing vital industry Search and Rescue activity supporting Offshore Energy Services operations in the Falkland Islands.

As we move into this next phase, we invite applications for the positions of Dual Role Technical Crew based at Falkland Islands (Stanley). 

The Dual Role Technical Crew will be responsible for airborne and ground-based duties of Technical Crew including compliance with all manuals and regulations pertinent to their employment.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Hold or be qualified to hold Operational TC with Attestation (TCA) in accordance with CAP 999
• Comply with all the requirements of CAP 999, specifically TCA training
• Comply with the specified requirements of Part-MED i.e. holding a valid class 2 medical
• Have Level 4 English language proficiency
• Previous experience on a SAR unit as a Winch Operator on helicopters
• Previous experience as a Winchman / Rescueman on a military or civilian SAR unit

Minimum Medical Experience and Qualifications:

• Experience in prehospital care is essential; the individual will be assessed as to their ability to hold the BHL SAR Medical Technician scope of practice.
• Must be able to meet the requirements associated with the Pre-Hospital Emergency Medicine (PHEM) Skills Framework associated with descriptor Level F.

Desirable:

• S92 type qualified (Preferred)

Requirements:

• Must be eligible to meet the requirements to hold a Falkland Islands work permit

Roster and Location Arrangements:

• 42 days on / 42 days off roster
• Location allowance provided
• Roles are based in the Falkland Islands (Stanley)
• Travel and Accommodation provided
