Play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering solutions that support the University’s flagship Academic Excellence Program
Base Salary $146,197 - $154,260 + 17% superannuation
About the opportunity
As the Senior Business Analyst, you will play a critical role supporting the delivery and ongoing success of the University’s flagship Academic Excellence Program. You will partner with a wide range of internal stakeholders to translate complex program requirements into actionable, high‑quality solutions that directly support academic strategy, operational excellence and institutional transformation.
Working under broad direction, you will lead end‑to‑end business analysis activities, champion best‑practice documentation, and drive solution design across complex, program‑wide initiatives within the University
Your key responsibilities will be to:
lead the capture, analysis and translation of Academic Excellence Program requirements into clear, actionable solutions
develop, refine and maintain high‑quality business process and system documentation supporting program delivery
partner with senior stakeholders across the University to ensure alignment, shared understanding and effective outcomes
conceptualise, evaluate and recommend innovative solutions that support academic excellence and strategic objectives
establish and uphold quality assurance standards across all program deliverables
support program reporting, governance, risk management and compliance in line with University policies
collaborate with cross‑functional teams to manage dependencies, resources and milestones across the program.
About you
extensive experience in senior business analysis roles supporting large‑scale, complex programs or initiatives
demonstrated expertise in business requirements analysis and ‘as is’ / ‘to be’ process modelling using recognised frameworks
strong analytical and problem‑solving capability, with the ability to interpret complex information and inform program decisions
proven experience facilitating workshops and engaging diverse stakeholder groups at scale
sound understanding of agile methodologies, change management principles and business intelligence tools
tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline, or an equivalent combination of training and experience
experience working within a large, complex organisation, ideally in a tertiary education environment.
