The Key Account Manager manages the sales and development of Tereos products towards non-food markets (Paper, Corrugated Board, Bio-Technology and Green Chemistry). The job scope includes providing technical support to the customers particularly in corrugated board markets. Sales area scope : Benelux Germany Position location : Aalst (Belgium) Manage, maintain and develop the business Negotiate volumes, prices, terms and conditions with existing and potential customers in the defined area / scope Provide Technical Support to Corrugating Board customers. Lead, support and follow up technical implementations at customers Pro-actively promote and introduce new products to existing and potential customers Have an excellent knowledge of his/her customer portfolio Coordinate with internal functions: Product Management, Quality, Supply Chain, Customer/Technical Support; for the best customer satisfaction / focus / experience Implement commercial strategy and policy of the company Manage the Sales Processes Analyse and optimize sales and margins of products in the defined area/scope Create and follow the administrative management of sales contracts Be responsible for maintaining the records, planning, ensuring the sales / execution performance and report out concerning the customer portfolio under the responsibility : sales forecast and trends, contract’s conditions and prices Make periodic customer visits and report to the stakeholders through CRM tool (Salesforce) Be proactive with the proposition on commercial policy on its area / scope Develop customer portfolio Analyse, grow and optimize the sales book per opportunities in the market Develop and maintain strategic customer relationships Market analysis Record and consolidate market data Analyse competitive offerings Follow the demand versus supply situation and evolution in order to define the optimal sales plan Gather the Business Market Intelligence information, relevant to sales to support decision making Determine strategy in areas such as market penetration and market development Generalities Perform the role according to the rules of safety, hygiene, food safety, quality and environment, and procedures on the sites Help to nurture a collaborative team environment by participating, contributing and supporting team activities / meetings Support the continuous improvement initiatives through direct participation and / or championing the related initiatives
