Support Staff - Paraprofessional II (.2341 FTE) - Academy of Innovation at Remington - 2025-2026 (One-Year Position)

This position is for the remainder of the 2025-26 school year.

Salary: 

• $17.13 - $23.72 per hour
• Pay band I300
• Pay rate is determined by years of experience

Job Summary:
This is a 9.5 month position, 9.36 hours per week.

Qualifications:

• Ability to organize and prepare classroom lessons and materials
• Thorough knowledge of the methods, techniques, and procedures used in teaching
• Desire to work with and educate children
• Ability to motivate others, be creative, flexible, and patient;
• In order to work under the direct supervision of an appropriately certified teacher to provide instructional assistance, paraprofessionals are require to:
  • Obtain 60 college credit hours, or
  • Have passed the ParaPro Assessment (before September 23, 2013) or
  • Have passed the Paraprofessional Assessment through Pearson (September 23, 2013 through June 20, 2024) or
  • Have passed the ParaPro Assessment through ETS (July 1, 2024 forward) or
  • Completed the 20HR Substitute Certificate Course

Travel Requirements:

• Travels to school district buildings and professional meetings as required.
