Preschool Teacher for 4 Year Old Class

Part-Time, Tuesday/Thursday/Friday 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. (with the option of adding afternoons to oversee preschool aftercare program)

Under the general supervision of the Preschool Director and School Principal, the preschool teacher will provide exceptional instruction to one class of 4 year old students 3 mornings a week (Tues/Thurs/Fri) from 8:35 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. and perform other teacher-minister responsibilities for St. Francis Xavier School Little Sailors Preschool.

The teacher will facilitate student success and growth in academic and interpersonal skills through implementing Diocese of Cleveland/Ohio Department of Education approved curriculum; documenting teaching and student progress/activities/outcomes; addressing specific educational needs of individual students and by creating a flexible, safe and optimal learning environment; and providing feedback to students, parents, and administration regarding student progress, expectations, goals, etc. The classroom has an educational aide.
