Middle School English Language Arts Teacher (Grades 6–8) - St. Benedict

St. Benedict Catholic School is seeking a Middle School English Language Arts Teacher (Grades 6�8) for the 2026-2027 school year. St. Benedict is a faith-filled Catholic school dedicated to academic excellence and the development of the whole child�spiritually, academically, and socially.

Position Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging English Language Arts instruction for students in grades 6�8
• Develop students' skills in reading comprehension, writing, grammar, and literature analysis
• Create a positive and structured classroom environment that supports student growth
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
• Collaborate with colleagues, administration, and families to support student success
• Support the mission and values of Catholic education
• Participate in school activities, faculty meetings, and professional development

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field
• Valid Ohio teaching license or eligibility to obtain one
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Commitment to collaboration and professional growth
