Summer School Teachers: Post-High School Special Education Teacher

Greenwich Public Schools seeks a Post-High School special education teacher for its 2026 Summer School program.

• The Secondary Summer School will be located at Western Middle School from July 6 through August 13, Mondays through Thursdays. The post-high school special education teacher will work 9:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m., which includes 30 minutes of planning time. An additional preparation day will occur on June 29, 2026.
• The Post-High School special education teacher must be certified to teach special education (e.g., #113 or #165).
• Compensation for all hours will be at the individual teacher's hourly per diem rate as based on the Agreement between the Greenwich Board of Education and the Greenwich Education Association.
• Position is dependent on student enrollment.
• Preference will be given to Greenwich Public Schools teachers contracted for the 2026-27 school year, and then to other Greenwich Public Schools benefits-eligible employees.
