Job Title: High Needs Special Education Teacher (Pool Position)

Location: Greenville ISD District Wide

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate High Needs Special Education Teacher for a pool position within the Greenville Independent School District. This role requires a dynamic individual who is certified and skilled in special education, with a focus on high needs students.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with high needs.
2. Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and stakeholders to maximize student learning.
3. Employ specialized teaching strategies to meet the unique needs of each student.
4. Assess students' abilities and craft teaching plans that align with their individual skills.
5. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment to engage all students.
6. Maintain accurate and comprehensive student records.
7. Participate in ongoing professional development and training sessions.

Certifications:

Candidates must hold a valid teaching certification with a specialization in Special Education. Additional certifications that support the education of high needs students will be highly regarded.
