Job Description
School Psychologist: Goddard Public Schools Special Education Cooperative is seeking multiple School Psychologists for the 2026-27 school year. Candidates interested in working in a collaborative and innovative environment with opportunities to develop their professional skills are encouraged to apply. School psychologist duties include, but are not limited to:
- Serve as an advocate for all children and youth.
- Consult and collaborate with educators, parents, children, and other professionals or agencies to improve student outcomes.
- Provide functional academic & behavioral assessments that are relevant to the presenting problem and student characteristics and are intervention and results oriented.
- Develop individual, group or system level interventions, which improve or resolve the identified problems or concerns including academic, social/emotional/behavioral, and mental health needs as they relate to educational progress.
- Provide support, instructions, technical assistance and ongoing monitoring of progress toward measurable, identified goals for students at individual, group or system level.
- Involvement in data analysis and evaluation, using data outcomes for implementing plans at an individual, group or systems level.
- Participate in interdisciplinary staffings to determine the eligibility, appropriate planning and reevaluation for students who require special education programs and services.
- Provides individual and group counseling and support to students.
