D67 June Summer School Speech-Language Pathologist - (ESY)

Lake Forest Elementary School District 67 is seeking a June Summer School Speech and Language Pathologist, with Assistive Technology skills, for (ESY). Speech Language Pathologist will be paid $50/hour for instruction and $25/hour for planning. Please see the attached Summer School schedule.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provides individual and group speech-language services for students identified for services
• Assists with progress monitoring focused on language development
• Completes IEP goal updates for students with goals in ESY
• Interacts with students in a manner that encourages respectful relationships among students and teachers
• Demonstrates positive interpersonal relations with staff
• Works cooperatively with school personnel to benefit students
• Communicates effectively with parents to enhance the learning process by responding to or initiating parent contacts in a timely, professional and constructive manner
• Executes Board of Education and building policies and procedures

 
Qualifications:

• Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Speech Language Pathologist endorsement
