Location: Oakes Kia, North Kansas City, MO
Schedule: Full Time
Compensation: $$20–$30 Flat Rate Hourly based on experience + 1.5x Flag Rate on All Warranty Work

About the Role

We are looking for an Automotive Technician to join our growing team, offering strong earning potential including 1.5x flag rate on all warranty work. This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles while delivering high-quality workmanship and efficiency in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with Service Advisors and fellow technicians to ensure customers receive safe and reliable vehicles. What You’ll Do

• Perform work specified on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy

• Diagnose and repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and A/C

• Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools to identify issues and confirm repairs

• Communicate with Service Advisors regarding additional repairs, timelines, and recommendations

• Execute warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications with 1.5x flag rate pay

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean or acceptable driving record
  
  

• Ability to pass a standard background check
  
  

• Strong reliability and consistent attendance
  
  

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
  
  

• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new systems
  
  

• 2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred
