Elementary Paraeducator - PT

The Hudson School District is seeking a part-time Paraeducator to work at Nottingham West Elementary School.
 

Supervised by the Special Education Educator, the Paraeducator will:

• Implement classroom accommodations.
• Organize the classroom environment and instructional materials.
• Reinforce instruction in accordance with each student's Individual Education Plan.

This is a part-time position to work 5.5 hours per day with 1/2 hour unpaid lunch 5 days per week for 188 total paid days. This includes 180 school days, 5 professional days and 3 holidays as outlined in the PSRP collective bargaining agreement (CBA).

Compensation: $18.25 through $21.25 per hour based upon experience as outlined within the PSRP CBA.

Qualifications: 

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• College degree, preferred
• Previous experience working in a special education role
• NH Department of Education Paraeducator II certification, preferred
