Job Description
TEMPORARY - Campus Professional

Job Title: TEMPORARY - Campus Professional
Reports To: Principal
Classification: Temporary
Wage/Hour Status: Exempt
Days: Start Date: To Be Determined
Salary: See Compensation Plan - Temporary
Contract: None
Date Revised: 4/14/2025
Primary Purpose: Responsible for implementing instruction in the assigned subject area(s) in a manner that fosters attainment of each student's maximum potential.
Qualifications/Skills: Education/Certification:
  • Bachelor's degree in related field, preferred.
Special Knowledge/Skills:
  • Skilled in managing behaviorally challenging students and providing collaborative interventions.
  • Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal Ability to write behavioral support plans for students that address a variety of behavioral and academic needs that include specific interventions.
  • Ability to coach other teachers around implementation of behavior plans and classroom-specific student support.
  • Ability to work within all curriculum content areas.
  • Demonstrates ability to align behavioral needs with movement experiences to promote positive change.
  • Fluent in English (speaking and writing).
  • Bilingual a plus.
Major Duties and
Responsibilities:
Communication:
  • Establish and maintain open communication with co-workers. Maintain a professional relationship with colleagues, students, parents and community members.
  • Use effective communication skills to present information accurately and clearly.
Professional Growth and Development:
  • Participate in staff development activities to improve job-related skills. Keep informed of and comply with state, district and school regulations and policies for classroom teachers.
  • Compile, maintain and file all physical and computerizes reports, records and other documents required.
  • Attend and participate in faculty meetings and serve on staff committees as required.
Other:
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Maintain emotional control under stress.
  • Work with frequent interruptions.
  • This position requires regular in-person interaction with the public.
