Seasonal Summer Maintenance/Grounds Worker

Meridian CUSD 223 is seeking a Seasonal Summer Maintenance/Grounds Worker to assist with grounds and facility upkeep during the summer months. This position primarily involves outdoor work and supports the district's efforts to maintain safe and well-kept school properties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Mulching and general landscaping tasks
• Weed trimming (weed-whacking) and weed removal
• Grounds cleanup and general outdoor maintenance
• Assisting maintenance staff with various projects as needed
• Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team
• Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods

Requirements:

• Successful completion of a background check
• Successful completion of a pre-employment physical
