Substitute Paraprofessional

Dixon Public Schools is looking for individuals who would be willing to substitute as a Paraprofessional in our school buildings.
 

This would be on an as-needed basis and times and days could vary.

Paraprofessional Duties Include

1. Monitor and supervise students
2. Working in a classroom setting or 1-on-1 with a student as needed

Paraprofessional Qualifications

1. Highly Qualified Parapro Approval (60 hours post-secondary work shown on a transcript or a passing score on the parapro assessment/diploma or GED)
2. Interest and ability to work with students/teachers
3. Ability to work with others as well as independently
4. Ability to multi-task
 

A Paraprofessional license is required. If you do not currently possess a Paraprofessional license please reach out to the Regional Office of Education at 815-625-1026 to learn about the requirements. 

Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour
