New Beginnings Academy Coordinator Vacancy for SY 26-27
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years public education experience as a certified teacher in a public school
Minimum of a M.Ed. and Georgia Tier I Leadership certificate (or eligible to receive one)
The position is a 200- 210 day administrative position (TBD)
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Collaborate with school principals, district administrators, and staff to facilitate smooth transitions to and from the Alternative School Program.
- Oversee student discipline procedures and monitor academic progress.
- Supervise and evaluate faculty and staff to promote high performance and professional growth.
- Plan and implement the effective use of district resources.
- Lead strategic planning initiatives aligned with district goals.
- Support efforts to improve the BCSS graduation rate.
- Coordinate the student discipline program to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Manage state and federal testing requirements for assigned students.
- Ensure a safe, structured, and effective learning environment for middle and high school students.
- Ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and safety of facilities and plant operations associated with the program.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Superintendent.
