Description:
The Special Education District of Lake County has openings available for an Occupational Therapist for the 2026-2027 School Year. Occupational Therapists work in the public school system and are responsible for assessing, screening and evaluating special education students with disabilities aged 0-21.Other responsibilities include: identify long term goals and objectives for the students; develop and monitor therapeutic interventions; update and assist with writing IEP goals and objectives as part of the educational team.
Type of Employment: Full-Time, 2026-2027 School Year
Requirement: Must have a current and valid Illinois license issued by the Illinois Department of Registration and Education.
Salary/Benefits: $53,871 - $78,060 based on education and experience. Locally competitive benefits.
