Special Ed Inclusion Teacher
Job Summary:
This position is for Math/ELA Teacher position at Leonard V Moore Middle School for the 2025-2026 school year from February 11, 2026-June 30, 2026
Qualifications/Responsibilities:
- Provide inclusion support to students with IEP's within Grade 5 Math and ELA classrooms
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers to plan and deliver differentiated instruction
- Develop, implement and monitor IEP goals aligned to grade-level standards
- Use data to track student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
- Provide small-group and individualized instruction as needed
- Maintain compliance with all special education documentation and timelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Support positive behavior strategies and social-emotional learning as part of the inclusion model
- Valid State Certification in Special Education (Grades 1-6 or appropriate certification)
- Experience with inclusion/co-teaching models preferred
- Strong knowledge of Grade 5 Math and ELA standards
- Ability to differentiate instruction and implement accommodations and modifications
- Strong communication, collaboration and organizational skills
- Commitment to equity, inclusion and student-centered learning
Stipend/Salary:
REA Salary Guide Range
BA: Step 1 $61,500.00- MA+30 Step 21 $104,807.00
