Job Description

 

Overview:
Glenbrook Transition Services is seeking a part-time Vocational Teacher (FTE: 0.5) for the 2026-2027 school year. 

 

The Vocational Teacher will work with transition-aged students, staff, parents, and adult-service and community agencies to develop and implement services to facilitate the achievement of the desired post-school employment outcomes for students with disabilities. The Vocational Teacher will be responsible for providing direct instruction on job skills and career readiness and for the development, coordination, and implementation of a school and community job placement utilizing evidence-based transition practices. The teacher will work with the school, community, social service agencies, and business partners to create inclusive, competitive employment opportunities.
 

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Candidates must hold or be eligible for a Professional Educator License with the appropriate endorsements.
  • Community-Based Instruction experience preferred
  • Vocational experience preferred

 

Compensation:
