Special Education Educational Assistants (EA) - grades 6-12, Extended School Year (ESY)

Type of Position: Temporary (Extended School Year)

Duty Days/Hours:
Friday, June 5 (1-3 hours of meeting/prep)
Monday-Thursday, June 8 - June 25 from 8:00am-11:30 am (3.5 hours per day)
Thursday, June 8 (2 hours, wrap-up)

Salary: $18.74 - $22.79 as per Educational Assistant Work Agreement

Qualifications:  

• Required:
  • High School Diploma
  • Highly Qualified Status
  • PCA Certification
• Preferred: Experience working with students with special needs; current CPI certification

Job Duties:

• Provide support to students based on their IEP goals and objectives
• Report to the Special Education Teachers for schedules/expectations of student support
• Report to the ESY Supervisor as appropriate.
