Per Diem Custodian


The Secaucus Board of Education invites qualified and interested persons to apply for the position of Per Diem Custodian.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of a High School degree or equivalent.
• Custodial/Maintenance experience a plus.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift a minimum of twenty (20) pounds.

• Sweep, dust mop, and/or vacuum floors.
• High dust, clean and polish furniture/desks.
• Empty wastebaskets and deliver waste to dumpsters.
• Bathrooms: clean stalls/urinals; replenish toilet tissues, paper towels, and soap dispensers; clean sinks; mop floors.
• Dust mop and clean floors.
• Building premises, including sidewalks, driveways and play areas must always be maintained; this includes snow removal.
• Perform other custodial/maintenance duties as assigned.
