Per Diem IT Opportunities
The Secaucus Board of Education invites qualified and interested individuals to apply for the Per Diem IT position for PAC Events.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in live sound mixing, theatrical lighting, or event A/V support is highly preferred.
- A Valid Driver's License and access to reliable personal transportation are required.
- Must have the ability to work flexible, extended hours, which include evenings and weekends, as dictated by the event schedule.
- Excellent communication, professionalism, and interpersonal skills; ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently under pressure.
BASIC FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate, troubleshoot, and manage the PAC's professional A/V equipment, including mixing boards, microphones, projectors, and sound systems for various performances and presentations.
- Operate the theatrical lighting board and associated fixtures, adjusting light cues and effects as required by the event.
- Configure and manage equipment for reliable live streaming of events to designated online platforms.
- Provide quick response technical assistance to staff, performers, and presenters regarding A/V needs before and during events.
Reports to IT Supervisor
SALARY AND EMPLOYMENT
Salary: $25 per hour
Employment Period: 2025-2026 School Year
