To be considered, candidates must hold a gifted endorsement or be currently enrolled in a gifted program. Due to our students taking advanced and accelerated Carnegie courses in 7th and 8th grades, the candidate must also possess 6-12 certification issued by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission. 

RMSST 4-8 is classified as a non-traditional Magnet school opening in August 2026 for students in 4th-8th grade. It is a rigorous program focused on STEM, interdisciplinary project-based learning, and the Design process. 8th Grade students will take Carnegie courses to gain high school credit. Applicants must be flexible, possess a growth mindset, collaborate positively and effectively with others, and take initiative.
