ROLE

We're seeking an outgoing, relationship-driven Online PR & Partnerships Specialist to help grow and strengthen the Nexus Partnership Program — our network of 500+ bloggers, businesses, and publications across the mission-driven sector.

This is a relationship-first role built for natural communicators who love getting on Zoom, building rapport, and creating win-win opportunities between partners. You'll recruit new partners into the network, run quarterly check-ins with existing partners, and coordinate the cross-marketing collaborations — blog exchanges, webinars, podcasts, and digital PR — that make the program valuable.

The partnerships you build also help our clients and partners earn high-quality backlinks and grow their organic and AI search visibility, so a background in offsite SEO, online PR, or link building is a major plus.

Depending on your strengths, we may lean you more toward new partner acquisition (outreach and onboarding) or partner engagement and retention (relationship management).

Either way, this is an ideal role for a junior-to-mid-level professional who's energized by talking to people, comfortable owning relationships, and excited to grow in digital PR and partnerships.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Recruit and onboard new partners into the Nexus Partnership Program across the mission-driven sector

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing partners through regular check-ins and ongoing engagement

  • Run quarterly partner calls to understand their audience, goals, and content priorities

  • Coordinate win-win cross-marketing opportunities, including blog exchanges, webinars, podcasts, and digital PR collaborations

  • Connect partners with one another and with Nexus clients to create valuable, mutually beneficial collaborations

  • Keep partners satisfied and engaged by delivering a great, well-organized partner experience

  • Identify opportunities to grow the network and deepen the value partners receive

  • Track partner activity, engagement, and outcomes, and report on the health of the network

  • Collaborate with internal content, SEO, and account teams to ensure partners receive high-quality deliverables

SETUP

  • This is a work-from-home setup

  • Target of 42.5 billable hours per week

  • This is a graveyard shift role aligned with US Eastern business hours (approx. 8 or 9 am to 5 or 6 pm EST), supporting strong real-time collaboration with US-based teams and partners

REQUIREMENTS

  • Based in the Philippines with consistent availability for a long-term role and the graveyard shift

  • Exceptional English verbal and written communication skills — this is a heavily relationship- and conversation-driven role

  • An outgoing, extroverted communicator who genuinely enjoys meeting people and building relationships over Zoom

  • Strong academic background with an outstanding General Weighted Average

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related field

  • Comfortable owning relationships, running calls, and representing Nexus professionally to external partners

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage many partner relationships and deadlines at once

  • Background in offsite SEO, online PR, digital PR, or backlink building is a huge plus

  • Prior experience in outreach, partnerships, account management, or PR is fantastic but not required

  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Motivated, proactive, and eager to grow in digital PR and partnerships

ORG OVERVIEW

Meet the Team

We currently have 100+ team members who live in the Philippines who have been fantastic team members and we’re excited to add new team members to this new role!

There are a few traits unique to our business that individuals should consider before applying.

  • You must love the idea of giving back to the community and nonprofits. There are thousands of jobs. If being involved in the success of nonprofits is something you’re truly passionate about, this could be a great role.

  • You must be extremely comfortable with change. As a small growing company, decisions can be made over a weekend and fully implemented by early the next week. Whether that’s new systems, new processes, or new approaches, we look for individuals who can adapt and thrive.

  • You must believe that the best contributors should get better rewards. As a company, we believe in paying people based on the value they generate at the business.

  • You must be willing to disagree and commit. As a growing business, there will be lots of decisions that get made and changes that occur during your time at the company. Some of which you’ll agree with and some you won’t, we strongly believe that the best team members have the ability to disagree and commit (i.e., going with a decision after it has been made regardless of whether or not you agree).

  • You must believe the status quo is unacceptable. As a growing company and as individuals, we believe the status quo is unacceptable. Everyone should be relentless in striving to be the best version of themselves and figure out ways to create more value at the company, enhance our client's results, and grow professionally. The question should always be “How can I be better” rather than “How can expectations be adjusted”.
