Special Education Classroom Nurse - Special Education - Summer School 25-26

Location: Parkside Junior High School

Date Available: Summer 2026

Dates and Times: June 8 - June 26 (Monday-Friday); no school June 19th

Extended School Year Hours: 8:00am - 1:00pm (5 Hours - students attend 8:30-1)

Qualifications: Must hold an RN or LPN License

Responsibilities: 

• Able to independently assess, evaluate, and make decisions based on assessments and nursing judgments.
• Able to follow through independently with appropriate care as needed.
• Should have knowledge of and be able to perform (but not limited to): medication administration, CPR, monitoring vital signs, suctioning, oxygen administration and trach care.
• Must be able to accompany students on community outings.
