Delegated Behind the Wheel Trainer

Salary Range 32; $28.35 - $34.43 per hour (5 step increments - per contract: highest placement w/experience is step 3). Includes district benefit package.

Work Year: 8 hours per day (Assigned hours are flexible) / 240 days per year

Requires valid California Commercial Driver's License; medical examination card; valid California Special Driver Certificate with School Bus endorsement and valid ARC First Aid Certificate. 

Must be able to obtain a California State Department of Education Delegate Behind-the- Wheel Trainer certificate.

Disqualifications are any moving violation point or at fault accidents on DMV drivers record per California Department of Education Delegated Behind-the-wheel trainer guidelines.

District/End of month paid employees (excludes timesheet and probationary status) should apply during the first 5 days of the 10 day posting period. Probationary employees will be considered with external applicants.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required, supplemental course work in education or related social science field desired. Minimum of three years of progressively responsible experience with a minimum of one year in an educational setting required.
