Drama Director - Fall 2026 Musical/ Spring 2026 Play (Internal Only)

Job Summary: 

• Theatre experience at the collegiate or professional level
• Directing experience, especially with youth theatre
• Ability to choose a high school level appropriate play that will fit within technical budget/constraints
• Able to run fair, efficient auditions
• Cast a show in a timely and professional manner
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents and school staff
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Coordinate parents/volunteers to organize costumes, props, publicity, program, student matinees, cast party
• Create a calendar for rehearsals/performances
• Direct organized and timely rehearsals
• Technical theatre knowledge to communicate effectively with technical crew
