Playground Aides - Recreation

Reports to: Director of Recreation QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have prior experience working with children
• Must be able to withstand long hours outside
• Must have the ability to be active with children
• Maximum of 35 hours per week
• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Must work well in a diverse community
• Must pass background check
• Any person over 18 must comply with fingerprinting

JOB DUTIES are (but not limited to):

• Work with children in a playground setting under the direction of the Playground Supervisor
• Must have patience and work well with children
• Must have the ability to be a positive role model for the children inside and outside the program

Working Length: Seasonal Position June - August

Salary: $12.00 per hour -16 & 17 years and under

$14.00 per hour -18 and over
