What You’ll Do
The Warehouse Inventory Supervisor is responsible for keeping accuracy of materials count and verify the transfer of the materials within the warehouse network. Responsibilities include staffing, continues improvements of process for efficiency.
Responsibilities and Essential Functions
• Accomplishes department objectives by supervising staff and organizing and monitoring work processes
• Accomplishes staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees
• Plans, monitors, and appraises job results
• Maintains safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing organization standards and adhering to legal regulations
• Completes daily operations by supporting production schedules, assigning and monitoring work by priorities, gathering resources, implementing productivity standards and resolving operations problems
• Follow and Maintain 6S
• Prepare back up plans of the personnel to keep the same level of effectiveness and results
• Coordinate among the different teams such as Receiving and Picking to get the orders ready on time
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Advanced MS Excel user
• Strong math and analytical skills
• Good cross function communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - ability to manage many job orders organizing by priorities in different steps and process
• Time management skills with the ability to prioritize
• Interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Enable to handle fast speed environment with perseverance and professionalism
• Maintaining and updating records
• Counting and verifying accuracy of raw materials in stock
• Reporting discrepancies between physical counts and system records
• Developing or improving upon inventory management procedures
• Lead inventory team to support production demands
Education
• Some college, College degree preferred
Experience
• 3+ years of experience in a leadership position within a manufacturing/warehouse environment with prior ERP experience and 20+ direct reports of full time and seasonal employees.
• Prior experience with WMS, SAP, Lean and Six Sigma a plus.
