About Ascension St. Vincent's Riverside
We are a full-service 528-bed hospital founded by the Daughters of Charity in 1916. Over the decades, the hospital expanded, with a new patient tower completed in 1968. In 1996, the Ascension St. Vincent's Health System acquired the facility. Today, it is a prominent hospital offering a range of specialty care, continuing its mission of compassionate healthcare for the Jacksonville community.
In addition to 24/7 emergency care, we deliver advanced surgical care for serious and life-threatening injuries and illnesses. Our care teams listen to quickly understand your health needs and deliver care that's right for you. Ascension St. Vincent's is a destination for specialty care - including heart and vascular, stroke, brain and spine, lung health, cancer, orthopedics, weight-loss surgery, and women's health. We offer a wide range of minimally invasive procedures, imaging and lab tests, all on one campus.
