Fragomen is seeking a Content Manager to join our dynamic and talented Marketing & Business Development Team. Members of this team serve as strategic business advisors to the firm's attorneys and immigration professionals and are respected for their proactive guidance, creativity and work ethic.
In this position, you will work with a close knit, collaborative and supportive team to drive proposals, pitches and other content marketing projects forward across the worldwide Fragomen organization. You will be responsible for the coordination and project management of major RFPs, proposals and presentations, help maintain the CRM database, draft and edit copy, and assist the wider Marketing & Business Development team with a variety of projects in a fast-paced environment.
This role allows for meaningful engagement and collaboration with legal teams and corporate stakeholders throughout the worldwide firm, including senior leaders. You will directly support the marketing and business development efforts of the preeminent thought leaders in immigration and work at a firm that is focused on revolutionizing the immigration industry through innovation.
The ideal candidate will be a highly organized, conscientious and extremely proactive self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills and 5-8 years of experience managing RFPs, proposals and pitches, or in a related marketing, business development or communications role.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive the end-to-end management and preparation of client-focused, high-quality proposals, RFP responses and pitch presentations that are consistent with firm messaging and tailored to each opportunity
Coordinate inputs from internal stakeholders to meet deadlines and milestones
Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently is a must
Analyze RFP requirements; lead team calls to define strategy, themes, and deliverables
Collaborate with pitch and design teams to create customized presentation materials (e.g., PowerPoint, Ceros)
Confidently run and coach practice sessions for client-facing presentations
Quickly build knowledge of the firm, its clients, and industry sectors
Compile and organize proposal content based on certain criteria; maintain and update proposal and RFP content in web-based system
Draft and edit marketing copy in line with style guidelines
Synthesize and present data and processes in multiple formats including text, charts, diagrams, etc.
Communicate effectively across cultures and global teams
Provide additional support to wider Marketing & Business Development department, as needed
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, English or a related field
5-8 years of relevant marketing experience, ideally in proposals/pitches
Strong RFP and proposal experience
Experience leading and directing teams of various levels, including senior Partners and leaders
Superior project management and organizational skills
Strong multitasking skills and the ability to perform in high-pressure situations requiring adherence to tight deadlines
Client service oriented with strong professional communication skills
Highly analytical, organized and detail-oriented
Communicates ideas clearly and concisely
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with Ceros a plus
Solid writing, editing and proofreading skills
Collaborative team player with a results-driven mindset
Skilled at tailoring content to specific audiences
Resourceful, proactive and self-motivated with a "make it happen" mindset and excellent interpersonal skills
Very high energy level and flexibility with respect to overtime
Legal or other professional services experience preferred
