
Non- Equity Partner - Workers’ Comp., New Jersey
Job Description
Weber Gallagher has an opening for a highly-skilled and experienced attorney to join our firm in the Workers’ Compensation groups in either of our New Jersey offices. The individual will be responsible for handling a wide range of workers' compensation matters.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze complex legal and factual issues and conduct well-reasoned legal research.
- Draft pleadings, answer written discovery, handle court hearings and trials.
- Communicate with clients, the court, witnesses, opposing counsel, and co-counsel while adhering to all deadlines.
- Ability to travel for court, client meetings, etc.
- Ability to work out of our NJ Offices (Mt. Laurel or Bedminster) in a hybrid capacity.
Requirements:
- 12+ years of experience, preferably in workers’ compensation matters.
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- NJ active and good standing bar license, required.
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Demonstrated interest in worker’s compensation law.
- Having portable business is a plus.
